Congratulations to the Class of 2025

Students across Marple Sixth Form College are celebrating another year of outstanding results and destinations across the board!

Overall, the college celebrated a 100% pass rate, with 40% of grades at A*–B. Top subjects included Film Studies and Media Studies, both achieving 100% high grades, while vocational results in the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design saw 45% achieve Triple Distinction* and 83% Triple Distinction or above.

The Class of 2025 has shown resilience and determination, and their hard work has paid off. Whether heading to university, starting an apprenticeship, or stepping into the world of work, each student is embarking on an exciting new chapter.

Charley Dean

Achieved: A Levels in Chemistry (A*), Biology (A), Fine Art (A)

Next step: Sheffield Hallam University to study Animation

Charley balanced her studies with caring for her mother. She praised the support of her tutors for providing extra sessions and flexibility when needed. “It’s been challenging at times, but the encouragement I’ve had has made a huge difference.”

Mohammad Matin Maddah

Achieved: A Levels in Maths (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (B)

Next step: University of Manchester to study Chemical Engineering
